Historic Photos Related to German Immigrant to SE Queensland
There is nothing like having a photo of an ancestor from generations ago - to be able to look into their eyes and wonder what they they were thinking, what they were like. You can look at their clothes, their hair, their hand and shoes, which give so many clues as to what their lives were like. In my case the hands always betray a life of hard work, the clothes of people looking uncomfortable in their Sunday best. It brings them close, while remaining so far. Good luck in your search for your family photos, and I encourage you to share the photos you find with the rest of your extended family.

Photographers
